Manitoba Farmland Values Trend - RM of Grey

Serecon's agricultural appraisal work completed in the RM of Grey, which is located approximately 50 km southwest of Winnipeg and approximately 25 km south of Portage la Prairie, indicates that dryland cultivated farmland appreciated about 13% in 2015 and irrigated farmland appreciated about 4% in that area. There was limited market activity in the second half of 2015. However, we anticipate that there will be a number of farmland transactions in the first half of 2016.
