The Ralph Ashmead Agricultural Economics International Award, which is in memory of the late Ralph W. Ashmead who was a partner with Serecon, has been offered since 2011. It is awarded to a student with satisfactory academic standing entering any year of an undergraduate degree in the Faculty of Agricultural, Life and Environmental Sciences who is participating in a Faculty approved formal exchange program, international study abroad program, international internship, or practicum opportunity. Selection is based on demonstrated leadership qualities in extracurricular and community activities, academic standing and demonstrated expected benefit of study and/or research opportunity.
